Who is responsible for your information?
Magus AI is a brand operated by StrategistHub LLC. StrategistHub LLC is the controller of personal information used for this website and our own business enquiries. Contact us at contact@strategisthub.com or write to StrategistHub LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 4000, Austin, TX, USA.
This notice covers the Magus website and related enquiries. Where we process information on a client’s instructions to deliver a project, the client’s privacy notice and the agreed data processing terms govern that processing.
Information we receive
- Enquiries: your name, work email, company website and any project information you choose to send, together with our correspondence.
- Business discussions: contact details and information you share when arranging or attending a discovery call or discussing an engagement.
- Technical information: hosting and security services may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website.
- Your privacy setting: a local browser record if you ask us to remember that you have read the cookie notice. It contains a notice version and expiry time, not your name or email.
Please do not include passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential client records in an initial enquiry. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a way to contact you to respond.
How the discovery form works
When you submit the form, the details you entered are sent over an encrypted connection to a third party form delivery service, which passes them to us by email. The service relays the message; it is not used to build a profile of you, and no account is created for you.
The form includes a hidden field that automated submissions tend to complete. If it is completed, the submission is discarded. You never see this field and it collects nothing about you.
If the automatic send fails, the form offers to open a message in your own email application instead. In that case nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and your email provider processes the message under its own terms.
The website does not contain an embedded booking service, newsletter subscription or payment form. If these features are introduced, we will update the relevant notices before using them.
Why we use information
| Purpose | Basis where UK GDPR applies |
|---|---|
| Respond to enquiries, arrange discovery calls and prepare proposals. | Our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective business clients. Where you personally request steps before entering a contract, those pre contractual steps may be the basis. |
| Manage a business relationship and related correspondence. | Our legitimate interests in providing and administering services; contract where you are personally a party. |
| Deliver and secure the website, diagnose errors and prevent misuse. | Our legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation. |
| Keep records required by law or respond to legal requests. | Compliance with applicable legal obligations. |
| Remember a privacy preference you ask us to save. | Our legitimate interests in respecting and remembering your choice. |
We consider the impact on individuals when relying on legitimate interests. We do not treat visiting the site or making an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing. This website does not currently operate a newsletter signup or advertising audience collection.
Who may receive information
Information may be accessed by authorised team members and service providers supporting hosting, security, form delivery, business email and communications. Professional advisers may receive information where needed for advice or the management of our business. We may disclose information where legally required or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Access should be limited to the relevant purpose. Project specific providers and processing arrangements are addressed in the applicable engagement terms. This website does not sell personal information or disclose it for cross context behavioural advertising.
International processing
StrategistHub LLC is based in the United States and has a delivery team in Pakistan. Business communications may therefore be accessed in the United States and Pakistan. Hosting and communications providers may also process information in the countries in which they operate.
International processing is subject to applicable data protection requirements. Before a transfer that requires contractual or other legal safeguards takes place, the relevant safeguards must be in place. You can contact us for details of the countries, providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry or engagement. We do not claim that data is stored only in the UK or that all providers use the same transfer arrangement.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence while assessing and responding to the enquiry and for any continuing business discussion. If an engagement follows, relevant records are retained for its administration and for applicable tax, accounting, contractual or legal requirements.
The retention decision considers the purpose of the record, the last meaningful contact, any continuing business need, legal requirements and any active dispute. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. Ask us for the retention information relevant to your records.
The website’s optional “remember this notice” record expires after 180 days and is removed when the site next checks it. You can remove it sooner through Cookie settings or your browser.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict its use or receive it in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can object to direct marketing at any time. Contact contact@strategisthub.com with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Where applicable US state law gives you an appeal right, reply to our response and ask for a privacy appeal. We will review the decision and explain any further route available to you. Exercising privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
You can raise concerns with us or your relevant privacy regulator. In the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us before raising a regulatory complaint.
Cookies, AI and external links
Our site code does not currently load analytics, advertising pixels or session recording. See the Cookie Policy for browser storage and hosting related information.
The discovery form does not send its contents to an AI model, and this website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. The AI systems we build for clients have their own agreed processing arrangements.
Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This site is intended for business users, not children.
